After a long wait, Opera has just release 10 beta. There’s some changes we could see at 10 beta, from new user interface and some other features.

Now we can modify some elements of Speed dial, such as how much dial showed and custom background image.

Another eye-candy feature added in 10 beta (which also make it more bloated) is Visual tab. You can see the Visual tab by drag the tab bar down.

A noteworthy new feature from performance point of view is Opera Turbo. Opera Turbo is similar to Opera Mini internet package going in and out data compression by Opera server. Very usefull if you have slow internet connection, but unfortunately not suitable to load any Flash element.

Although Opera claims that 10 beta is 40% faster than previous version, but in reality (as much as i try and compare) its slower than 9.64 and very buggy especially when you playong flash-based game on Facebook while opening sidebar panel. I reinstall Opera 9.64 and rather wait for more stable version Opera 10 for daily use.
